World Pet Association, producers of America’s Family Pet Expo, has consulted with experts in the Pet Expo family, who have supported WPA’s decision to allow leashed dogs onto the property. Prior to entering Pet Expo gates, owners will be required to purchase a $10 ticket at the box office. To ensure a positive environment for everyone and existing animals at Pet Expo, WPA will employ additional staff to ensure dogs remain leashed at all times, are in good temperament, use the designated elimination areas, and maintain cleanliness throughout the property. Through these pre-determined measures, the WPA is confident in the success of allowing dogs at the Expo, which will further the WPA’s mission of responsible pet care and ownership.
